Join the acoustic kitsch Bennie James, indie pop firework Brendan Maclean and vivacious hot tamale Monica Trapaga to launch Annaliese Szota's second EP 'Be The Happy People'.

Sydney based and Nowra bred; Annaliese Szota blends a love of the cheeky and geeky with earnest poetry and heartfelt piano. Add a hint of frisky cabaret, a polka-dot smock, a spring in the step and a whole lot of glockenspiel, and the result is an embrace of the whimsical, swirled with just a pang of bittersweet...

As a solo artist. Annaliese has shared a bill with noted artists Lanie Lane, Deborah Conway, Tim Rogers and X-Factor 2011 runner up Andrew Wishart. Her collaborative escapades have seen her share the stage with The Whitlams, Skipping Girl Vinegar, Ernest Ellis and Wolf and Cub.

Keep an eye out for Australian musical feature film 'Goddess' starring Ronan Keating and Magda Szubanski, as Annaliese's credits on the film include demo vocalist, childrens director and a small comedic bit-part.

'Be the Happy People' and previous EP 'Little Bubbles' will hit itunes and other online music sites in June 2012.
