Exceptional Service Award

Congratulations to Marion Hatter who was presented with an Exceptional Service Award at the November general meeting.

Marion has played for 13 of the 15 Old Time Music Halls, and played a speaking part in Stepping Out. She has also been accompanist for about 14 other shows, including Seven Deadly Sins, My Fair Lady, Stepping Out and two Josephs. Marion shows great skill in  keeping up with those she is accompanying, has immense patience with the  demands of directors, and always remains cheerful and willing. Marion is a regular attender at monthly  meetings and spends many hours at home searching out appropriate music, and writes,  or adapts words to accompany music. She has also accompanied small  groups at other performances, such as Meals on Wheels Christmas parties,  and the recent Tourism Awards.
