 This, another of Lawrence’s hilarious comedies, will be our first show for 2010.

The Nowra Players presents The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

The delightful adaptation of C.S. Lewis’s well-loved tale of good and evil takes the audience on a magical tour to the land of Narnia with four children Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy, who stumble into this strange land through the wardrobe.  There they encounter the wicked White Witch, representing the forces of evil, and the King of the Beasts, Aslan the lion, representing all that is good and right.  With the children’s help the White Witch is destroyed, allowing good to triumph over evil in the time-honoured way.

In a new take on our traditional bi-annual Music Hall, Nowra Players is presenting Seven Deadly Sins, a cabaret inspired show made up of singing, dancing and a few skits as well. The show is loosely based around the theme of  the “Seven Deadly Sins”.

Once again the Nowra Players membership have combined their talents to produce a high quality production that proved to be a sell-out.  Special thanks to Lyn, Craig and Jim for an outstanding effort in bringing this challenging and thought provoking play to life.  In addition, we thank the Tim Tams for yet another great set.   Well done to all involved.
